Circle of Empty Arms author, LaShaundra Seale, or “Shaun” as her friends call her, loves to write!!  Throughout high school and college she wrote poems, plays, and short stories. 

When not reading, writing, or studying, LaShaundra loves scrapbooking, including making her own invitations and Christmas cards. Shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family are also high on her lists of priorities.

LaShaundra has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Tyler, and a Masters in Public Administration from Texas State University.

She grew up in a military family and had the pleasure of living in Europe and Hawaii, as well as many states in the U.S.

She currently lives in Texas.  

LaShaundra's breakout novel, "Never More Than You Can Bear," was published in 2008.

Her current novel, "Circle of Empty Arms," was published in 2009.
